So Day #2 began with us going to the beach. Austin LOVED the beach last year so I was really looking forward to taking Austin this year. He has enjoyed the pool so much this summer that I knew he would just have a blast. But, unfortunately that was not the case. :( The sand seem to bother Austin quite a bit and since the tide was strong this year he has trouble walking when it reseeded back into the ocean.
Here Austin is just checking things out and being a bit cautious. SO NOT AUSTIN!
Here you can see the sand beginning to be a little bothersome.
We decided to take a little break for a while and play in our beach tent. This was a GREAT buy for us. We got it on Amazon and it was only $50 and was worth every penny. It gave us some privacy on the beach and helped to cool us down from the sun.
In this video Austin is doing okay with the water but at the end he takes a nose dive into the sand and get pretty upset so we had to take another break to recuperate.
Here we are just relaxing and taking it easy.
After taking another break Austin QUICKLY warmed up to the water and was very excited and had lots of fun. I'll share more of those pictures on my next post. :)
