Vacationing in Myrtle Beach...

...was so much fun BUT SO FREAKING HUMID!!!

With that being the only low point of our trip, I would have to say Myrtle Beach was a winner for the Blackburn family. :) Casey and I really enjoy traveling and taking Austin to new places. It is so fun to see him experience new things and he continues to amaze us with his ability to handle being in unfamiliar places. The whole time we were away all we did was hang at the beach, swim at the pool, lay around in our hotel room, and eat LOTS of food. My kind of vacation! :)

Austin is such a VIP when he travels! :)

This was our lunch break stop on our drive down. Austin liked the play area and really got into following some of the other kids around and laughing at them.

Upon arrival waiting for Casey and the bellman to come out to get our bags.

This photo is a bit "foggy" from the HORRIBLE humidity, but Austin thought the sea shells were neat. He had never seen one before given that all the other beaches we'd been too in the past didn't actually have any sea shells on the shore. But in Myrtle Beach, they are EVERYWHERE!

This year Austin was MUCH BETTER about playing in the sand and working on his sensory issues.

Not really in the mood to take a picture with Mommy. :)

This was probably the most fun part of the whole resort for Austin. We called it the "Fun Pool."

Decided to take a "leisurely" walk to the pier.
