So this blog is not about Austin today but about my mom...
Today was Oma's last day of radiation! Woo Hoo! Each person at the clinic rings "THE GONG" on their last day. PRETTY COOL! Oma completed 30 sessions of radiation today and will continue with drug-treatment for the next 5 years. She is well on her way to being considered "cancer-free" though she already got the thumbs-up from her doctor. :)
We love you Oma and are so proud of your strength and determination! You're the badest Oma on the block! :)
Each patient receives a certificate upon completion too.
