Egg Hunting and LOTS of FUN!

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to James and Maria Lewis and DC Metro Church for organizing a WONDERFUL Easter egg hunt for special needs kids!

This is the 2nd year we have attended and it was a big hit again for Austin. They do such a great job of making it "friendly" to kids with all types of sensory issues and/or social behaviors. This year, due to the bad weather, they held it indoors at Mount Vernon Recreation Center, but that didn't stop the fun. :)

Austin REALLY enjoyed the craft table with the stamps. It was a bit surprising given that I can't seem to get Austin interested in ANY projects at home. :)

The sandbox was new this year.

Austin thought it was so funny when I tried to hula hoop! :)

During bowling, Austin ket throwing the ball as a "no-look" throw. :)
