So...I can't say enough GREAT THINGS about the iPad for kids, especially special-needs kids! We've had ours for about 2 months now and Austin has fallen in LOVE! He has learned so many new things that just (practically) bring me to tears. As soon as we got it and realized how quickly Austin took to it, we knew that this would be a VERY valuable tool in Austin's development. Within 1 month Austin had learned ALL his shapes, colors, ABC's, numbers 1-20 and counting by 10's up to 100, a variety of animals, and the names of most of his extended family. Though we still are working hard and have a long way to go...it is so wonderful to see our boy having so much fun learning. :)

Opa and I are SOOOOOOO impressed with how far Austin has come using the ipad. Not only did he know all the letters but he spoke them very clearly as well. Way to go, Austin!
