For the past couple of weeks Austin has been really interested in numbers. Anytime and anywhere that he sees numbers he will stop what he is doing and stare at them. When we go out to the car he will stop to look at our address sign on the house and our address (as well as our neighbors') painted in our parking spots. He is so determined that he will pull and drag us by the hand over to each parking spot to look at the addresses.
One evening I was picking up Austin's toys and came across the picture below. Austin had taken out (from his numbers puzzle) these 4 numbers and lined them up in this ordered. For anyone who does not know...this is our home address. OMG! I was in total shock like I had seen a ghost! Neither Casey nor myself have ever talked about our home address. I always count to Austin and point out numbers but never specific patterns. He remembered this pattern from seeing it every time we walk out to the car or walk to the pool or park.
We knew Austin was great at puzzles but had NO idea that he was memorizing patterns to this level. This just proves to us that we are on the right path and what we are doing with him biomedically and academically is the right thing. We have been doing MB12 shots for a little over 5 weeks now and are seeing some positive effects socially. PRAISE GOD! We have another appointment with Dr. Neubrander on July 16 so we will discuss our next treatment options then. We'll keep everyone posted. Please continue your prayers for Austin's full recovery!
