The weather here in DC has been CRAZY! Just a week ago we had a terrible storm that wiped out power all across the area...days even in some areas. And the temps have been climbing every day! Today it reached 104 degrees! This is quite unusual for DC this time of year.
Austin doesn't do well in the heat. He actually overheats REALLY easily so we cannot be outside for more than a few minutes before we have to go inside to cool off (unless, of course, we are at the pool). So we have been trying to stay cool as much as we can. We've been going to the pool in the late morning when they open at 11:00 (our neighborhood pool is practically deserted at this time) and then have been experimenting with different types of sprinkler toys in the evening. I think we found the winner today!
