This is the 2nd Christmas in a row that Austin has been ill on Christmas Day. :( Click HERE for last year's Christmas blog.
For the last week a stomach virus had been going around Austin's class and all the kids had gotten it (including 2 teachers) except for Austin. We thought we had avoided it until Christmas Eve morning when Austin woke up tired and with no appetite. By mid-day he was really sick (I won't mention any details). :(
By Christmas morning there was not much change so we canceled going to my parents house (well...I actually went by myself for a few hours while Casey and Austin stayed home). But by that evening Austin was beginning to show some signs life again so we had Oma and Opa come over for a quick visit to bring Austin his presents. At least he got to open presents on Christmas day!
This is Austin opening gifts from his ABA therapist on 12/23. Looks fine, right?
Santa brought Austin more Playmobil toys this year.

Austin played for about 10 minutes and then planted himself on the couch for the next 10 hours. :(

We'll be praying all this new year for a healthy Christmas in 2012! :)
