Gobble Gobble...Happy Thanksgiving

We have so many things to be thankful for this year that my heart is bursting with happiness! :)

First...PRAISE GOD for all our answered prayers!

Second...we are truly blessed to be the parents of the most amazing boy in the world. What joy Austin brings to both Casey and me!

Third...we have amazing friends and family that mean the world to us. LOVE YOU ALL!

Fourth...we are blessed with our health and may we have many more years of it.

This Thanksgiving Day we spent it at my parents house (here in DC) with both my brothers, their wives and children. It was a full house and I wouldn't have it any other way. Recently, Austin has been making some minor improvements with his social interactions and it was so cool to see him with his 3 other cousins. Austin is normally more comfortable around adults and will interact with them frequently but not kids really. His 2 older cousins (Avery 8 and Noelle 7) do a good job of initiating play with him so he does tend to get a kick out of them. But Austin has never really interacted too much with his cousin Will 3. But on Thanksgiving things were a little different. For some reason, Austin wanted to play under the coffee table and REALLY wanted Will to play with him. So he would grab Will by the hand, drag him to the table, wrestle him to the ground, and then push and shove him under the table. And every time Will would get up from under the table Austin would do the routine all over again. HOW FUNNY! :) Though it was obvious that he was obsessing over the routine and would get frustrated when Will would not participate, it was still unprompted social interaction with his cousin. WooHoo! :)

Today was also Casey's and my 1st time to experience Black Friday shopping. IMO...not too bad. :) We definitely saved a lot of money and I was able to get everything on my entire Christmas list but 4 items. PRETTY GOOD!

Austin got an early Christmas gift also today which was his 1st Mickey Mouse stuffed animal. He is really enjoying Mickey these days and since we gave it to him he has not put it down. :)
